VA Home Loan Guaranty Program (2024)

VA’s Home Loan Guaranty program provides an opportunity for both veterans and active service members to buy, build, repair, or adapt a home with no money down. I worked with the Loan Guaranty Program in 2024 to shoot a series of interviews with lenders, realtors, and homeowners in both the Washington, D.C. area and Colorado Springs, CO to be used for educational content and national public service announcements for television and radio.

Home Loan Guaranty Educational Video Series

This project consisted of two videos, each intended to be the start of an educational series aimed directly at both lenders and realtors to dispel myths about the VA Home Loan program and provide a call to action for further education using the extensive VA resource library around this benefit. Each interview was primarily shot as a direct-to-camera address to more directly engage viewers.

This video series also called for the creation of a new lightweight graphics package based on existing Home Loan Guaranty branding guidelines:

National Public Service Announcement

This project featured Eeland Willter, a Marine veteran and active-duty Army member who purchased a home in the Colorado Springs, CO area using his VA Home Loan Benefit. This PSA focused on Eeland’s home-buying journey using the benefit with the goal of bringing awareness to the wider veteran and active-duty population in the US. I used this footage to create both a 60-second and 30-second cut for both online and broadcast television campaigns, as well as audio-only edits of each for national radio campaigns.

This project also featured extensive use of Adobe After Effects to track and eliminate visible branding and logos for distribution:
