VA Benefits Assistance Service - Alaska Outreach Pilot (2019)

Working with VBA’s Benefits Assistance Service (BAS), our team spearheaded a rural outreach campaign focused on veterans living in Alaska. While Alaska has the highest number of veterans per capita in the US, the vast, rural nature of the state leaves many of them without easy access to benefits or healthcare. As one of my first projects working with VA, I helped provide graphic design as well as in-person photography and video support for a two week outreach campaign across four cities and towns – Anchorage, Palmer, Delta Junction, and Fairbanks.

My work on this project directly contributed to our team winning a Marcom Platinum Award in 2019 for excellence in marketing and communication.
